EPISCOPAL COAT OF ARMS AND MOTTO OF BISHOP
Bishop Isizoh's description of his Coat of Arms:
- "XP (Chi Rho) — Monogram ordinarily taken as abbreviation of Christ’s name (in Greek “Christos”) — Reference to my special devotion to the Most Holy Name of Jesus Christ, who is the alpha and the omega (the first and the last).
- The rising sun — Reference to Psalm 113,3 – “From the rising of the sun to its setting, may the name of the Lord be praised”
- The star above the water — Reference to the Blessed Virgin Mary “Star of the Sea”
- The two black stripes and the motto “Entirely for God” — Reference to the front and back monastic scapular of the Cistercian monks and the apt summary of a life spent for God: my desire to imitate the spirituality of Blessed Michael Cyprian Iwene Tansi.
